African Politics

African politics is like the case of two candidates who went head-to-head for the seat of a ruler. Both devised their individual strategy of appealing to the needs of the people through poverty-alleviation projects.
Candidate A's idea was to supply machinery, raw-materials and other food-crops as a means to develop and increase the agricultural output of the state. Also, a means to generate revenue through sales and exportation of farm products.
Although his idea was a laudable one, the developmental programme required a minimum of 4-years to materialise.

Candidate B's idea was to supply already processed food product as a means to satisfy the immediate needs of the people.

The chieftain analysed this two, and eventually picked the latter, as he was compelled to by the decision of his people.

After few months of consumption and zero regeneration of produce consumed, the situations reverted to the way they were. And the people wailed as the economy deteriorated.
No sooner the people voted their preferred choice than they called for his head, as there was no generation of revenues and inflation soon hit the land.

Often a times people forget the place of investment and embrace short-cuts. But at the end they come to realise how much they have failed. It is but a pity that only a few shows concern and is ready to sacrifice for the future.
As for me I say God bless the Universe.
