As consistent as a designer dress

Ed note: "Consistency is a critical building block for trust. It is directly relational to time, and if deployed effectively, comes in handy in winning over the hearts of consumers in-and-out of season".

If any one told me some years ago that I'd ever market a brand or offer my carefully collected thoughts on metrics employable to promote a brand, I'd have told the person to buzz off.
At a time, I worked under the social media marketing department, where along with other members of the team, I provided brand's online presence sentiment, generated and distributed strategic contents via different channels and kept a tab on clients.

Overtime, I realised that one's ability to execute plans aptly and provide consumers with much needed information CONSISTENTLY, increased returns and  eventually organisational growth.

Just as a fabric is cut after a unique pattern and neatly knitted in the same order to make a branded dress, finding and expressing consistency in one’s business is a prerequisite for SUCCESS.

In order to build a brand whose appeal cuts across all platforms, you need to adequately remind the consumers of how effective and dynamic your brand is. Also, the quality of the services rendered per time, needs to be near-perfect with no compromise.

An effective brand need show some level of connection with her consumers, some relationship that exceeds prices and returns. Wherefore, planting trust which equates loyalty in their hearts.

Device a platform that would allow them see your brand for what you want them to, that is a:

Durable,

Available

Cost-effective, and

Consumer-friendly brand.

At this point, you can hardly get it wrong, especially when you keep at the back of your head that the market is better approached with a win-win campaign than otherwise. For nobody wants to be taken for a ride.

P.S: this year, I’d advice that you strive for excellence and a good name, as with this two, it’ll be impossible to kick you out of the picture.

Forgiveness

Ed note: Forgiveness is another action that sustains a man's life, and without it he becomes embittered by life. -Pst. Godman Akinlabi

When a man is hurt or bitter, it is as though his mind is shielded from everything that's good in life. At the point, he finds it difficult to appreciate anything good and the only energy he'd be radiating would be 'hardness'.
'This could be witnessed in say a man who refuses to forgive his spouse and in the process becomes bitter and oblivious to all the good things in his marriage. He shuts himself out on everything and everyone, and in the process offers himself nothing but disservice'.
Although i'm not married yet, i've witnessed people live bitterly prior to an awful decision, and i can tell that it's one of the regrettable-errors to be made by anyone.

The irony of forgiveness is that it prevents one from receiving and accepting forgiveness in return as at when due. A quick look at our Lord's prayer explains it better, "forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us". In other words, you can't get grace if you don't extend grace to others -it's that simple.

In the light of the truth, you can get angry or choose to express your disappointment, however, "be angry but don't sin". That is, express your displeasure without seeking to draw blood from the other person.
Although, it's humanly to want to take revenge, but for every disagreement you have a choice to either throw-caution-to-the-wind or end it on the spot.

Just as you're not less a man if you choose to express your disappointment in a thing or someone, offering a sacrifice of peace doesn't make you a coward either. In fact, it makes you a better man and reveals how strong you are in dealing with matters generally. Also, it further speaks of the better man that is on your inside, and this you need show more often.

N.B: Everyone can get angry and destroy what's been built over the years, but that doesn't have to be you.

Choose right, Live right!!!

As difficult as PRAYER

As difficult as PRAYER

To a layman, prayer is a usual exercise or section so designed to allow man pour-out his desires to God. To some, it is a mere routine done to satisfy a religious belief.
However, prayer is a simple act of obedience in respect of the instructions laid down by Jesus Christ to man -amongst other things to be done after Him.
Apostle Peter encouraged us if the significance of sheer obedience of the word of truth, in 1Peter 1:22. Most importantly, he spoke of the reward for it.

Growing up, I can remember vividly how my parents rewarded a simple act of obedience, and my father would say "a child who is fond of his parents is one who readily obeys them". This is equally true in our relationship with God.

Man is better effective when his focus is fixed on a cause, that way, he is not easily distracted by the occurrences present in his environment. At this point, he is said to be ultimately productive and able to achieve much more.

Limited to my understanding, the best explanation to Luke 18:1 is "men ought to pray at all times and not lose heart or the sight of focus". This way, we are easily set aside and purified, so long our obedience is fulfilled in Christ.

I will like to close round up by reading from the scriptures in 1Peter 4:7b "clear your minds and embrace self-control so that you can PRAY (emphasis added)".
I want to believe that the above statement explains the secrets to overcome 'prayerlessness'.
