Is the future really bright ?

Is the future really bright ?

Just as the brain is some repository for knowledge, so is the LIBRARY to an endless chain of information.

Libraries are the future of Reading and the future of great leadership for any nation.
What a nation thinks about its centres for learning is a measure of what it feels about education.

The reflections and histories of men and women throughout the world are contained in books, and education presents the opportunity to ask questions, find answers, and break open the doors leading to this historical knowledge. A nation’s greatness and progress is dependent upon each and every citizen being able to access and utilise this knowledge, turning every detail into a lead.

However, an unresolved question remains: What does the future hold for a nation with such a large youthful population who have little or no interest in education or books? Would such place be conducive for living or left with ruins?

A mentor of mine once said, "the most dangerous sets of people are those who make decisions based on residual knowledge".
At first, it appears as though they are right, but when such knowledge is put through test it falls apart, though after having ruined lives.

I will close with this, the scripture Proverbs 4:7 says, " Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding". Getting here is a continuous transitive verb, that means to continuously obtain or gain possession of a thing.

If the the oldest book that exists and communicates the mind of the creator (God), lays emphasis on the importance of education then I see no reason why anyone should neglect it.

It is all insanity

"If you think anyone is sane you just don't know enough about them" ~ Christopher Moore.

I want to believe that at the time Christopher Moore made this statement, he must have seen the very things I am seeing presently.
I mean, it appears as though the number of sane people had not only reduced but had been replaced by their insane counterpart.

What would you say of a medical practitioner who teaches on the mode of operations of drugs and the side-effects, yet a chronic addict.
The law enforcement agencies whose job description is to ensure that the law is duly enforced, yet breaks the law at a regularly.
How about a clergyman who is trained and ordained for religious service, yet drenched in the pool of immorality.

"Wisdom is profitable to direct"~ Ecclesiastes 10:10, a prove that having knowledge is not enough to succeed in 'life'. As success requires a combination of knowing and applying, and unless you figure that out it might prove elusive.

Get Knowledge, Get Understanding, Get Wisdom.

Getting acquainted

Ed Note:

Just as journalism thrives on controversies,  success rests upon the shoulders of consistent and effectual information ~ Michael Obajowo Jimmy.

"I had gone out for the most part of the day,  and on returning I felt exhausted and as though I had gained nothing tangible for the day, therefore a need for refreshing.

I had little or nothing much to do, so I decided to engage some of my friends on some discussion,  and the result, mind blowing".

"Life we all say is beautiful, but truth be told, beauty is only a function of what you make out of life, and a sum total of the knowledge garnered and well appropriated.

Many of us are quite knowledgeable in our own space, but a large percentage of the things we believe to have knowledge in are obsolete,  yet we are oblivious of this fact. Therefore, we wallow and are [more often than none] bewildered on how to navigate our way to the top.

Limited to my understanding, the most inviolable,  infallible, and intangible way of knowing is by having a touch of the minds of people via the instrumentality of reading. The importance of reading can neither be under-estimated nor over-emphasized, for it is as a tool that liberates a man’s heart and sets him in constant motion towards the discovery of new concepts.

However, one cannot stop at reading alone, as there is a need to stay on  the information chain consistently without a break. Therefore, one needs to improve on his technique, for ideas keeps proliferating without bounds. “To be relevant is to hold the keys to mind-blowing information”.

One need to consistently conceive the thought of achieving some feat better than the formal, “as the success of yesterday is usually eclipsed by the complexity of today”.

Finally, I would advice that you use every available platform around, to attach yourself to updated and revised information. Someone once said “the most dangerous set of people are those who make important decisions based on some stale and outdated knowledge”.

Remember, “you can never get it wrong with the right information".

Till next time, I remain Michael Obajowo Jimmy your friendly neighbour.

Knowledge

Until we come to the understanding that it is not by mistake that we are here and walking in His plans. That it is all a part of the PROCESS, He has structured to have us become thee MAN that He has called us to be. Until we find peace with our inner man and begin to rely solely on Him, doing valiantly will be but an hear-say (Psalm 60:12). There's no understanding outside His, visit Him today...

Relationship

Relationship is like driving on the highway with your partner by your side. It is like driving on a rough road with the aim of arriving at a more suitable and trouble-free road. It takes the expertise of one person to effectively propel the vehicle. But patience, understanding, trust, and support from the other to see the vehicle drive through the "thick" and "tough". Your place in any relationship is neither to exercise authority nor create a ground for competition. It should be a coalition of minds aimed at achieving feats that neither one of you would have been able to achieve individually. One of the partners needs to handle the steering, while the other observes and gives advises

. Relationship becomes better when respect is not lost, and achievable goals are envisioned. #GetItRight.
